Information
My name is Jason Baker and I am from Knightdale, North Carolina. I attend Campbell University, which will allow me to become the only person in my family to graduate from a 4-year university. I am proud of my current success and hope to build on my success over the near future. Over the years, I have been heavily in love with sports and have played almost my entire life but once college rolled around, I decided to focus all my attention on academics and not pursue college athletics. I'm also an animal lover, which is evident in my passion for starting a dog walking and sitting company called "Dog's Life"! Im blessed for the life that God has given me and hope to continue to overcome the rest of my life with success.

Front End Attendant at A'Nets Katch
May 2019 - July 2019​

Working at a restaurant over the summer of 2019 helped me ​gain a lot of work experience. During these 3 months, I had many different duties. I operated the cash register for cash and credit card transactions. I restocked, arranged, and organized seafood in the display case to increase product sales. I maintained table settings, delivered food to tables, refilled beverages promptly, and cleaned the dining area. I managed customer relations and accepted customer orders in person and over the phone. Finally, I performed complete opening, closing, and shift change duties.

Dog Walker for Wag Labs Inc.

​This was my first job working for an actual company, but it was more of an entrepreneur type work experience. During my time as a dog walker, I learned a lot about responsibility and communication. Working for Wag, I walked and cared for dogs during owners' absence and communicated with the owner. I also exercised and offered restroom breaks for dogs around their neighborhood or complex.

Throughout my time at Campbell​ University, I have learned many concepts and made many friends through the use of networking. I am a Business Administration major with a minor in Information Technology Management. My current GPA is a 3.96 and I would love to keep this as high as possible. While in college, I have been on presidents list and deans list multiple times. I have been fortunate enough to attend Campbell University through the support of their givers. From their generosity, I have been able to receive a Presidential Scholarship, Administrative On-Campus Housing Scholarship, and a Top 10 Percent Scholarship Award.
